The problem of bad roads in Russia is ineradicable for all of us well-known reasons, and because some enterprising people came up with the idea to raise public transport in the air. This idea morphed into the idea of creating a taxi-based drone Servert СВ5Б, and work in this direction will be the AeroNet group of the National technology initiative (NTI).
NTI will support the development Servert СВ5Б and promotion of the project, and the author of the drone is the company “Aviaton”. The project costs about 1.5 billion rubles, with 70% of this amount will pay AeroNet. The volume of kickbacks in the official estimates are not provided, but we already know that the cost of commercially available Servert СВ5Б will be from 700 thousand to 1 million dollars.
The parameters of the drone Servert СВ5Б not disclosed, but it reportedly is designed basing on neurotrance and can take off from a platform with a diameter of up to 30 meters, though vertically. Currently, the drone prepares for test loads, which will identify shortcomings and correct them in the future go to tests involving people. Managed Servert СВ5Б will be a special ON and operated from the ground, and to fly the drone will be allowed in the same airspace that conventional planes travel through, but not before 2020.
