In Russia for six months destroyed 2,500 tons of food

Rosselkhoznadzor said that during six months, detained and destroyed more than 2.5 thousand tons of food products prohibited for import to Russia.

The amount of detained food products of animal origin amounted to 182 tonnes, of which destroyed 119, 8 tons.

The embargo was imposed in response to the sanctions the EU, USA and some other Western countries against Russia due to the annexation of Crimea and support self-proclaimed republics in Donbass.
