A pleasure boat, on Board of which there were 14 citizens of Moldova collided with another boat in a collision, six people were taken to the County hospital Tulcea, Romania with injuries of varying severity, one is in a coma.
This was announced by Advisor on public relations of the Inspectorate for emergency situations of the County of Tulcea, Angela Toscano.
“As a result of the collision of two pleasure boats, six of the injured – all citizens of the Republic of Moldova – was taken to the County hospital Tulcea, and the remaining 8 people refused from hospitalization,” said Toscano.
According to her, one of the victims is in a coma, he was rushed to a hospital in Bucharest.
It is also known that the boat, the fault of which the collision occurred, the scene disappeared.
For victim assistance was summoned and two helicopter emergency air medical services in Romania.
Information about the victims is confirmed by the Minister of health of Moldova Ruxanda Glavan. The medical service of Moldova, according to her, are in constant contact with their Romanian colleagues.
Romanian law enforcement agencies opened a criminal investigation on this case.
