Hungarian chefs have called the best in the world — chef tamás Salem and his team were awarded the honorary prize “Golden Bocuse”. It is reported portal Hungary Today. The final competition was held in Budapest on Wednesday, may 11.
The Hungarian team, consisting of Tamasha of Sale and three of his colleagues walked in a culinary competition of Norway and Sweden. The participants have prepared dishes of sturgeon and venison.
Special prize for best fish dish went to the chefs from Iceland. Their French counterparts were awarded for a feast of meat. Member of the Swedish team was awarded as the best student chefs.
Prize, the “Bocuse d’or” is considered as very honorable in the world of Haute cuisine — it equates to “Oscar” or “Golden palm” in the field of cinema. This prize has been awarded since 1987. It was established by Field Bakusou French chef, one of the most famous chefs of the twentieth century.
