HTC has today officially introduced a new smartphone Desire 830 for the Taiwanese market.
Desire 830 is a replacement for the Desire 820 is in the range of mid-range devices. The smartphone is made of plastic and is focused more on music lovers, as it has the BoomSound speakers on the top and bottom of the 5.5-inch 1080p display.
The dimensions of the Desire 830 amount 157,5 x 78,9 x 7,79 mm. At the sides, the camera and where are the dynamics, the smartphone has a colored insert. Currently, HTC offers the phone in white color with blue and red accents.
As for specs, the Desire 830 runs on OCTA core chipset from MediaTek Helio X10, with a frequency of 1.5 GHz paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of disk space. There is also a memory card slot that supports MicroSD cards up to 128 GB.
On the back there is a 13 MP camera with optical stabilization and F/2.0 aperture. The front camera has a resolution of 4-megapixels and aperture F/2.0. Battery capacity is 2,800 mAh.
Desire 830 will go on sale in Taiwan on may 6 with a price tag of $310. Later deliveries are expected in other regions.
