Honda unveiled the new European version of the hatchback Civic

Honda introduced the European version of the hatchback Civic to the tenth generation. Pyatidverka, public premiere which will take place in late September at the Paris motor show for the first time will be offered with the supercharged units.

Thus, the hatchback turned out to be 130 millimeters long, 30 millimeters wider and 20 millimeters lower than its predecessor. The wheelbase increased by 30 mm to 2700 mm. The Luggage capacity remains at 478 litres.

In the engine the Honda Civic lineup will include two new petrol turbo: 127-strong three-cylinder engine working volume of one liter and 1.5-liter “four”, developing 180 horsepower. Both units can be combined with a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT. Data on the dynamics and fuel consumption is not given.

Later the engine range will add significantly upgraded 1.6-litre diesel engine, the output of which will be about 120 horsepower.

The hatchback received a digital instrument panel with TFT-display. For new items will be available multimedia system Connect second generation with seven-inch touch screen and interfaces support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

List of electronic “help” included a warning system frontal collision and tracking rows motion, adaptive cruise control, and functions monitoring “dead” zones and traffic sign recognition.
