The Romanian hacker Marcel Lazar, known under the name of Lucifer, admitted in court in the US that he hacked the computer accounts of senior us officials.
44-year-old Lazar, in particular, was accused of tampering with the mail of family members of former U.S. presidents George Bush Sr. and George Bush Jr., as well as the account of the former Secretary of state Colin Powell.
After pleading guilty Lazar threatens from two till seven years of prison. Sentencing is scheduled for 1 September.
