President of Sberbank German Gref said that the Russian economy will demonstrate growth already next year, while maintaining oil prices in the 45 us dollars per barrel. He declared to TV channel “Russia 24”, reports TASS.
According to the head of Sberbank, the price of a barrel of oil in 2020 could reach $ 60 dollars, and by 2024, growth is possible to $ 80.
According to the London exchange ICE the price of Brent crude oil on may 26 for the first time since 4 November 2015 exceeded 50 dollars per barrel. The maximum transaction price of July futures for Brent oil reached a value of $ 50.08 per barrel.
Oil prices began to rise on may 25, after the publication of data on stocks in the United States. So, commercial oil stocks in the country decreased from 16 to 20 may, to 4.2 million barrels to 537,1 million. The analysts expected a decrease of only two million barrels.
On may 29 the Minister of energy of Russia Alexander Novak predicted a rebalancing of supply and demand in the oil market by the end of 2017. The Minister also suggested that by this time some will increase the share of gas as ecological raw material it will be used more worldwide.
