Samsung plans to gradually switch over to Tizen OS.
Samsung intends to gradually abandon Android and go to Tizen operating system of its own production.
The publication notes that Samsung have high hopes for their own OS, and believe that without their own “OSes”, the company has no future.
It is known that currently used Tizen in smart watches and bracelets. In addition the company has already released on the Indian market of budget smartphones running its own operating system that are popular – only in the first quarter of this year has sold 64 million devices.
Further, the South Korean giant will send forces to popularize their product, and also introduction of the OS in their own smart watches, TVs and cameras.
According to forecasts of the analytical company IDS by the end of 2016 Tizen will be installed on 11.3 percent of devices worldwide. One of the priority markets, according to the publication, the company is the Russian.
