The European Commission intend to prohibit Google to reward the manufacturers for installation of Google search on the devices by default and threaten a large fine.

In April, the company received a copy of the document in which the European Commission accused it of using its dominant Android mobile operating system to beat your rivals.

The document States that Google is conducting this practice since January 2011, in connection with what may well be forced to pay a large fine. “The Commission intends to set the penalty, which will be sufficient to ensure containment policy of the company”, – stated in the papers.

Recall that in April 2015 the European Commission has put forward formal charges against the American Corporation Google in violation of antitrust laws of the EU. The European Commission gave Google 3 weeks to answer antitrust charges regarding the possible abuse of a dominant position Android mobile operating system, which squeezes out competitors in the EU market.

The European Commission accused Google of violating the rights of consumers, because the company demanded that mobile phone manufacturers pre-install Google search and Google Chrome on their smartphones to get access to other Google applications.
