Goldman Sachs predicted that Russia’s record oil production in 2018

By 2018, Russia will extract of 11.65 million barrels per day — more than in Soviet times, when the production at the peak (in 1987) made up 11.42 million barrels. On Wednesday, July 20, reports Bloomberg referring to the forecast of American Bank Goldman Sachs.

Within three years oil production in Russia will increase. In 2016 it will grow by more than 1 percentage point, to 11.21 million barrels.

Experts at Goldman Sachs said that to increase the level of production will help lower the cost of production. Companies can make a profit and the oil for $ 10 per barrel.

“We are still positive about the future prospects of the Russian oil industry. When the current quotes of a large Corporation can implement their plans for investment and dividend payments”, — said the head of the analytical group Goldman Sachs Geydar Mamedov.
