In the report Amnesty International called on wealthy Nations, including Germany, to accept more refugees. According to statistics cited by the organization, more than 56% of all recognized refugees in the world has received status throughout the 10 poorest countries, which accounted for only 2.5% of world GDP. This is Jordan (2.7 million refugees), Turkey (2.5 million), Pakistan (1.6 million), as well as Lebanon, Iran, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Chad. Amnesty International also noted that “among these countries there are no States of “big seven” and the EU”. “The selfishness of the rich countries prevents the equitable distribution of migrants need to take responsibility instead of shy away from it,” the study says.

We will remind, the day before the presentation of the report — in Day of national unity of Germany on 3 October — Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Joachim gauck booed by the supporters of the movement PEGIDA. Its founder Lutz Bachmann commented on the incident, laying out the stream on his page on Facebook: “the video that his anger is now held by the policy of “open door” for immigrants, hatred of German heritage and anti-Russian propaganda is demonstrated not only by the PEGIDA activists, but ordinary citizens who came to Express their position. It is the end of Merkel’s career, the refugee situation got to her”. In a press-service of the CDU/CSU (the United faction of the Christian social Union and Christian democratic Union, in power since 2005. — RT) from comment about the incident abstained.

In the night from Monday to Tuesday unknown smeared the front office of a Deputy of the ruling party CDU/CSU Bettina Kudla in Leipzig liquid, similar to tar, broke four Windows and ransacked the inside of the room. In a press-service of the Deputy confirmed the vandalism, but did not make any assumptions about the perpetrators of the incident.

The Chairman of the youth Union of the Left party of Germany Julius Zukowski no doubt, which has aggravated anti-immigrant sentiment: “the attack on the office of the Deputy of the ruling party is a direct consequence of the atmosphere it creates which has become popular in recent years the party “Alternative for Germany”. The problem is that if you constantly to tell people how to overthrow the government and foment inter-ethnic strife, some follow these tips. This is a natural consequence, one of the things new hate. Another striking example is the attack on refugee camps, which last year happened almost every day.”

“The German government for his liberal reforms and policies brought many people to a state of poverty, and they are looking for answers to the question of why their welfare has deteriorated. And the answers come from the party “Alternative for Germany”, which is essentially racist and xenophobic. She gives too simple answers to complex questions. This populism. I believe the only solution to our Left party, which stands for specific social reforms that people live with dignity: raising the minimum wage”, — explained his position Zukowski.

The party “Alternative for Germany” their opinions about recent events. The press Secretary of the party, Christian Lutz said that the events in Dresden and Leipzig — the consequence of short-sighted policy of Merkel and her supporters: “the Policy of so-called traditional parties have become uncontested. They tell us that it is necessary to save the Euro, to accept refugees, because there is no choice. In fact, the choice and the alternative is always there”.

“The CDU/CSU got the wrong priorities — and at the community level, and regional. For example, the principles of accommodation of refugees, temporary shelters, which are constructed mainly in the East of Berlin, without consulting the citizens. This causes their natural resentment and leads to catcall, vandalism and so on. If you do not pay attention to the life of German citizens, and to focus on the convenience of workers, it will not lead to anything good. Amnesty international does not account for the fact that Jordan, Turkey and others closer to the mentality of the refugees-Muslims. Our country has a Christian-Jewish values, and we don’t want to lose them”.

The Federal parliamentary elections in Germany will take place in 2017, that’s when the Germans will decide which alternative they still closer.
