Gays and lesbians are calculated threat countries

International Association of lesbians and gays (ILGA) has estimated the amount of threat for yourself countries. Same-sex sexual contact, or promotion of LGBT relationships is a criminal offence in 74 countries. Such data are contained in the study, which Tuesday, may 17, publishes The Independent.

According to the publication, the death penalty for same-sex sexual activity provided in 13 countries: Sudan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Mauritania, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Qatar, the UAE, a number of provinces of Nigeria and Somalia, some parts of Syria and Iraq.

In 17 States, laws prohibit the promotion of homosexuality and provide penalties for violation of these restrictions: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Somalia, Tunisia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lithuania and Russia. (By law in Russia prohibits the promotion of gay relations among minors).

In 40 countries, according to the study, remain the norm, in varying degrees, to justify a murder or an attack on homosexuals, lesbians and bisexuals because of their orientation.

As noted in the study, in a number of countries — former British colonies — historically remained the law criminalizing sexual relations only between men. Now in those States under the criminal articles summarized and relationships between women that allows the authorities to speak about the absence of discrimination and equal treatment of all sexual minorities.
