Amazon.com Inc. launches a function that will allow users to place video on your channel and earn money. Thus, the company has more pulling the plug on popular video hosting Youtube.
According to Bloomberg, Amazon already offers movies and television programs via the Internet. In this segment it competes with Netflix Inc.
The new product allows Amazon to attract users by monetizing their content.
The video producers can earn it in several ways. First, sell or rent their programs on Amazon, or make video available to all Amazon customers (not just Prime subscribers) in ad-supported format.
Another option is the provision of subscription video on Amazon Prime.Amazon will also pay $ 1 million per month to the creators of the 100 most popular programs watched Prime members every month.
