We will remind, in October, the Parliament of Crimea agreed on the sale of eight real estate properties, previously owned by the group “Privat” Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. The proceeds will be used to compensate local depositors, whose savings were in the Bank, who left the Peninsula after the reunification of the region with Russia.

In July, the authorities of the Crimea decided to sell 20 former objects of the oligarch Kolomoisky.

After joining the Crimea to Russia, Ukrainian banks refused to pay deposits to citizens of the Republic. The obligation to compensate for the loss of the Crimean people, whose deposits do not exceed 700 thousand rubles, took over the Fund for the protection of depositors.

From 3 March the Crimea began the procedure of compensation payments to residents of the Peninsula who have left larger deposits in Ukrainian banks. Part of the funds for these payments are taken from the sale of nationalised sanatorium “foros”, formerly owned by Igor Kolomoisky.

In August it was reported that the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine investigates criminal case upon a taking officials of “PrivatBank” 766 million us dollars of funds of the national Bank.
