France has counted up to the thousands of migrant minors without adult

“From 24 to 26 August 2016, our census found 861 homeless minors in Calais, including 627 of them live in the camp “the jungle”, 202 located in the centre of temporary admission, and 32 located at the women’s center”, – stated in the message.

Human rights activists recalled that these last may, census indicate 343 unaccompanied minors. According to them, the children who beg in the jungle without parents and relatives, are immigrants, particularly from Sudan, Afghanistan, Eritrea and Ethiopia. “The situation is very worrying and requires urgent, sustained support, but also emphasizes the necessity of finding acceptable solutions for each of these minors,” said the organization.
