Film location from the fake streets in the style of different eras, attractions and shops for tourists will appear in the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg. About it reports “Interfax” referring to the agreement, which concluded the company “VTB development” and Kinostudiya “thumbnail”.
“Thumbnail Park” will be located on a plot of 10 hectares in a new district “Uptown”. The total area of the film location will be 75 thousand square meters. Here will be the Ukrainian film production sites and pavilions, as well as entertainment and interactive area. It is expected that the attendance of the same principles will be not less than one million people a year.
The project is implemented within three to four years. The volume of investments is estimated at 4 billion rubles. In the near future will be developed the final concept of the Park, said in a statement.
In the quarter “Uptown” build 550 thousand square meters of low-rise housing, and 510 thousand square meters of objects of social and commercial infrastructure. The same principles will be part of a large business cluster.
