The company Mercedes-Benz has released the first teaser video of the new station wagon E-Class. The official premiere of the car will take place June 6, 2016 at a special event in Stuttgart (Germany). The novelty will receive the prefix in the name of the Estate and will arrive to dealers in September. The price of the car will be known later.
Externally the car will look like wagon C-class. The car will have a spoiler, the led optics and the exhaust system with two tailpipes. Inside the machine installs the digital dashboard of two displays with a size of 12.3 inches and a Burmester 3D audio system. According to unofficial data, the volume of the Luggage compartment with the rear seats folded will amount to 1,950 litres. With the wheelbase compared to the standard version of the car will increase by 66 millimeters.
The novelty will be built on the MRA platform. Thanks to this machine should be noticeably lighter than its predecessor. The range of engines of the station wagons will include petrol and diesel powertrains. Also the novelty will receive a hybrid modification with a gasoline engine and an electric motor. The total capacity of the hybrid version is 279 horsepower, the promised electric range – 30 kilometers. Next year Mercedes-Benz will start selling the most powerful versions of the E63 Estate. The car will get a 4.0-liter V8 engine. Motor power is 571 HP. Even more powerful E63 S version will be equipped with an engine that develops 612 HP and 848 Nm of torque.
