The Russian plane flew over the Gulf of Finland
The Ministry of defence of Finland announced that on Thursday, 6 October, a Russian su-27 violated the country’s airspace, flying over the Gulf of Finland to the South of Porvoo.
“The flight was on a strictly defined route. During the flight the aircraft from the route is not rejected, which is confirmed by data of objective control”, – stated in the defense Ministry. Finnish border guard service launched an investigation into the incident.
At the same time, the Russian defense Ministry reported that the plane made a training flight over neutral waters of the Gulf, reports Slon. We will remind, the Minister of defence of Finland Jussi Niinistö said that his country was in the fall of 2016 he wants to sign an agreement with the United States in the defense sphere.
