Erdogan insists on a meeting with Putin before the G20 summit

The Turkish foreign Minister noted that this issue is resolved and currently undergoing the necessary preparations at the interagency level.

Ankara, 1 July. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed a desire to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Russia, according to the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Earlier, the two leaders had an agreement on the negotiations at the next G20 summit, which will be held in China. Erdogan has offered to meet up to the international forum in Russia. Cavusoglu noted that this issue is resolved and currently undergoing the necessary preparations at the interagency level.

On Friday, the foreign Ministers of the two countries Sergey Lavrov and Cavusoglu led joint negotiations in Sochi on the Council of foreign Ministers of member countries of the black sea economic cooperation (BSEC).
