The gala is a small nomadic tribe that lives in the foothills of the Himalayas. Themselves these people are called “kings forest”, they revere the ancient traditions and don’t accept modern life. There are a total of about 150 people, it is obvious that the nation is on the verge of extinction. Unique photos depicting daily life events, perhaps one of the last evidences of life on our planet.
Photos about everyday life events managed to make German photographer Ramu Paudel (Ram Paudel), he went on an exciting expedition in Nepal and brought back a detailed photo report. Events live as hundreds of years ago their ancestors lived: they are engaged in hunting and gathering, and craft – make wooden bowls and boxes. Their products they exchange from local farmers for grain and vegetables.
The basis of the diet of the gala – monkey meat. Climate change lead to a reduction in populations of these animals, and therefore people have become less and less likely to survive. Environmental pollution affects forest health, and Raut is feeling it harder to find places suitable for life.

Despite the difficult conditions, the elders of the tribe determined to continue not to change their way of life, whereas the young, of course, wants to become closer to the civilized world. Whose position will win – time will tell. The only thing obviously is to exist as before, they are unlikely. I want to believe that they will be able to find a reasonable compromise between civilization and unique culture.
