The Queen stressed that it is not easy to remain calm.
Queen Elizabeth II first made a speech after the referendum in which the British voted to secede from the EU.
She said before Britain is not an easy task, which is to preserve peace in the period of lightning-fast change of events.
Such a statement the British Queen did, speaking at the opening of the fifth session of the Scottish Parliament.
“We have to live and work in a challenging and demanding time when events are happening at an incredible speed.
It is because can be challenging to remain calm and focused,” said Elizabeth II.
As reported, the referendum held on 23 June in the UK, was won by the supporters of the state’s withdrawal from the European Union. 382 constituencies voted for Brexit 17 million 410 thousand 742 (51.9%), against 16 million 141 thousand 241 people (48.1 per cent).
