Chinese group officially unveiled a new sedan A9.
The official presentation of the luxury sedan Dongfeng A9, speaking first in the entire history of the manufacturer from China, passed during the Moscow international automobile salon, which started on August 24.
For Dongfeng sedan in the premium segment was the most dorogostoyaschie model for all time of operation of the company. It is known that as a base for the new sedan was used in architecture, created by the Alliance Peugeot-Citroen. The Chinese company owns a small share in the French Corporation.
Among other flagship sedan is visible thanks to a modern chassis on which are based the three French cars: Citroen C6 and Citroen C5, and Peugeot 508. In addition to the platform luxury sedan Dongfeng A9 taken from the Citroen C6 about 70% of the parts of the structure, for example, a turbocharged petrol engine of 1.8 L.
From Peugeot-Citroen, the Chinese model is borrowed 6-speed automatic transmission. If to speak about the size of a sedan, the Chinese Dongfeng A9 in length equal 5,066 m, width – 1,858 m and a height of 1.47 m, provided the wheelbase of 2.9 m.
In the most luxurious modification of the luxury sedan you can find built-in the back seat massager that works on the drive and also able to change the angle of the seat back. The return of the power unit, which is equipped with Dongfeng A9, is equal to 204 BHP at 280 Nm.
