Novak Djokovic and Simona Halep has issued titles on representative clay tournament Mutua Madrid Open.
Djokovic on the way to the 29th title of masters series consistently beat the Bourne Coric, Roberto Bautista-Agut, Milos Raonic, kei nishikori, and in the final match in a three-set winner beat their closest pursuer in the ATP rankings Andy Murray.
Novak Djokovic for the second time in his career won the tournament in Madrid, the Serb scored a 64-second title in his career, extending his winning streak in finals matches to ten.

Simona Halep broke a 14-month series without titles – Romanian in the final of the tournament in Romania without problems has understood with Dominika Cibulkova. At the Madrid ground Halep has consistently managed to beat Misaki DOI, Karin Knapp, Alan Timaeus, Irina-Camelia Begu, Samantha Stosur and Dominika Cibulkova.
The title in Madrid was for Halep 12th in career – Romanian for the fourth time won the competition of the prestigious WTA Premier Mandatory category.

Mutua Madrid Open is one of the few tournaments with the same prize money for the ATP and WTA. Novak Djokovic and Simona Halep win received 912 900 euros, finalists got receipts for 447 630 euros.
