In the red group in the framework of the Final of the WTA tournament played the matches of the second round.
Match two of the favorites of the red group suddenly ended with the defeat Angelique Kerber in just one hour and 24 minutes defeated Simon Halep, who never led.
The key point of the first set occurred in the eighth game – Kerber at the equal account has played a break point, then took the feed Halep and completed the party. In the second set Kerber twice took the feed Halep – Romanian responded with a series of unrealised break points.
