Angelique Kerber and Dominika Cibulkova got through the group stage on Total tournament WTA in Singapore.
Dominika Cibulkova after losses from Angelique Kerber and Madison keys had only one way – to win in two sets over Simona Halep. Even this result is not guaranteed Slovakian pass to the semifinals – the fate Cibulkova depended on the second match in this group.
With the Final of the tournament debutante did the first set, Cibulkova took account only of the break, and in the second game, despite three lost feed, pressurized Halep in the tiebreak.
