State Duma deputies propose to provide depositors of large banks guarantee to refund the full amount when the insured event. Initiated by the Deputy from “Fair Russia” Andrey Kruglov has already sent a corresponding appeal to the President of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
MP proposes to create a registry of several systemically important banks, which will act guarantees full compensation at any risk. According to Siluanov, this will give people more confidence in the Russian banking system. “It would be fair to guarantee to the depositors of the banks the full refund of their Deposit. This will increase confidence in the banking system and attract to it the money that many are now kept “under the pillow”.
