Cyberpunk 2077 will be much bigger the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Polish Studio CD Projekt, the creators of The Witcher series, greatly expand its membership to work on a new game. According to the latest information, the Studio will almost double.
“We work in the same breath for the past 5 years. It all started with the release of the Witcher 2, after which we simultaneously developed the Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. When the third part was finished, we moved on to additional content for the game. Now, to realize our ambitions in a new project, we are expanding the Studio with 300 employees to 500,” said the Studio head of CD Projekt in Krakow John Mamas (John Mamais).
“Now the Krakow division has about 30 employees, but that number is expected to grow 3-4 times by next year. We are already working on some of the key elements of Cyberpunk 2077, but in the plans is the creation of an independent Studio that would be able to lead their own projects without looking at Warsaw. After the recruitment is finished, it is possible that the development of the next game premium entirely will be held in Krakow,” continued Mamais.
After the incredible success of The Witcher 3, the game creators also promised to return one day to adventure in the universe of the Witcher. However, at the moment all forces are left to work on Cyberpunk 2077.
