In 2020, the “Opel” may receive a large flagship crossover.
Its dimensions will be close to the Astra model (overall length of the SUV will be about 4.5 meters). The crossover will be built on a modified version of the modular chassis EMP2 of the PSA Peugeot Citroen, the French share with the Germans in the framework of the agreement with General Motors.
The range of engines will include a two-liter four-cylinder petrol and diesel turbines. It is not excluded that the SUV will also see a modification with a hybrid power plant. It is expected that the debut of the crossover will take place at the Frankfurt motor show in autumn 2017, and its sales will start in 2018.
