Bronze medalist of the Olympics 2016 track Cycling Russian Denis Dmitriev decided to sell the BMW X3, given to him for a medal at the Games. About this athlete said in his Instagram.

“Due to increased interest from the media to the plans of the athletes in relation to donated cars, we decided to make this post. I already have my favorite car — BMW “blue Hippo”. It is the result of my sporting achievements and hard work,” wrote the athlete.

Dmitriev also thanked the Fund of support of Olympians of Russia and expressed hope that the donated car will allow the appointment to serve as the future owner and his family.

August 26 presented by the state to the winner of the Olympic games of 2016 BMW X6 was sold for 4 670 000 rubles. According to “R-Sport”, the car belongs to a member of the national team of Russia in synchronized swimming.
