the company BMW in 2021 is planning to introduce a new electric car called iNext. About it reports Bloomberg referring to the statement of the head of the German brand Harald Kruger at the annual meeting of shareholders in Munich. The car will be the new flagship of the company. The main rival cars will be electric car Tesla Model S.
According to Kruger, iNext will get a system of Autonomous driving, lightweight body structure design, advanced electric transmission and brand new interior. The top Manager emphasized that the new product will be a “new generation of electric cars on the road.”
Also BMW is planning to develop a fully electric crossover. Currently, the concern’s leadership is actively discussing this issue, and the final decision is still pending. If the project receives the “green light” on the world markets the new product will be a major competitor to Tesla Model X. to Assemble the model plan at the plant in Spartanburg (USA).
