Bloomberg: Oman volunteered to allow “oil dispute” between SA and Iran

Bloomberg: Оман вызвался разрешить "нефтяной спор" между СА и Ираном

Oman announced his candidacy as a mediator of talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia, whose position has actually blocked an agreement between oil producers on freezing the level of oil production in Doha, said on Monday Bloomberg.

According to the Minister of oil and gas of Oman Mohammed al-Rumhi, the failure of the talks was a big disappointment for many participants, but it was no surprise, because Iran did not participate in the negotiations. Note that Oman is the largest oil exporter among the countries outside OPEC.

“Oman has friendly relations not only with Iran and Saudi Arabia, we are ready to develop a solution that satisfies all parties,” stressed al-Rumhi.

According to him, OPEC countries and other oil exporters should adopt a common decision on the freezing of production to the next OPEC meeting scheduled for June this year.
