On 22 March it became known that Qatar has sent to all member countries of OPEC and other major oil-producing States an invitation to participate in the new meeting — 17 April in Doha.
The representative of the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation confirmed that Russia had received an invitation and plans to participate in the meeting.
Meanwhile, Libya has refused to participate in the meeting of oil producers, explaining this decision by saying that it intends to increase oil production as much as she can.
