An important topic raised by Tatiana Kabaevoy – as the desire to consume ruined a great country. And Dima Semitsvetov as a type of post-Soviet man, who for the sake of free consumption sacrificed the Empire. But not just sacrificed, and betrayed their homeland. Betrayed whom? Another Empire, in which the opposite consumerism, and private property is the basis. It’s called democracy, civilization – like, but its essence is the expansion of possessiveness, in the victory of short-term gain against the sacrifice, of matter over spirit.
This article feels kind of duality to do with this. On the one hand, they say that in normal usage there is nothing wrong, and in the late Soviet Union most people were irritated by the inability to buy a good thing no stampede – it is only important to separate earned income from unearned. And with another – Tatiana calls Putin almost a guarantor of consumption of Dima Semizorova that, in my opinion, a superficial twit.
Normal consumption really should be accessible to most – it is one of the need of man as mortal and susceptible to physiological excesses being. However fundamentally important the degree of consumption and its importance in the value system of the society. Lofty ideals, great goals, spiritual development should be above the gum, jeans and “wanna hang out”. And if there comes a time when you have to choose between one and the other, man, society, the country, the state must sacrifice it consumption. Since the private decision not to buy unnecessary consumer goods for the sake of important books and ending with the willingness to withstand the sanctions of the international policeman for the sake of preserving sovereignty. And Russia is now just passes the test, making such a choice.
I will say that in “Empire of kindness” such dilemma does not happen: and there the consumption is enormous, and the most advanced country with the largest army. But the fact of the matter is that thanks to the army and financial dominance (monopoly dollar) this power drains resources from the rest of the world and thereby able to provide and over-consumption of the elite and comfortable life for millions of citizens, and Hollywood, and the Seventh fleet, and much more. Consumer Paradise, Dolce Vita – most importantly their ideological weapon, who managed to conquer most of humanity is actually not available to this humanity because of the inequitable control of resources. And will never be accessed – it is an illusion, a myth, a lie.
The current Russian leadership do not seem to put surgala and urges citizens not to win some “ISM” – and this creates a sense of total victory of the bourgeoisie. However, life itself, the development of the situation in the world, aggressive coercion by the Russian world policeman to return to “stall civilized” creates for Russia the choice between lentil soup and ideals. Hence the hysterical outrage of the “chosen minority”, which suddenly lost idyll with the West, and the consolidation of the majority of the people, in which the return to this choice have revived that same feeling of finding the truth and protect the homeland.
However, this unity must be maintained – as the wording of the very sverely (without the “isms”, and more understandable words) and an example of by the authorities and the elite. The Supreme has repeatedly demonstrated the priority of national interests by ridiculing the attempts of the West to find his billions. It is interesting that those Russians, who bought potreblyadstvo, however, not receive from it full satisfaction and happiness. The same Dima Semizorova received in 25 years all the possibilities to consume and not to get out, came to the deepest sense of dissatisfaction. The feeling of lack of something important, of inner emptiness. And this something is our chance.
The only way for the Russian to earth is to build and protect that piece of her (one-seventh or one-fifth of the planet), in which, for all the evils of modern civilization on the ground should be righteousness, justice and truth. In modern times it is already worse than the supergoal of heaven on earth.
