Polls provide conflicting data on the future voting of the British over the EU.
Recent public opinion polls show contradictory data about the preferences of the British regarding a referendum on EU membership.
In particular, according to the survey, conducted by YouGov, the majority of British – 51% – intend to vote for the country’s withdrawal from the European Union and 49% want to see the country in the EU.
However, as noted by the British press in comparison with previous surveys there is a noticeable downward trend in the number of supporters of Brexit: last week, a YouGov survey showed a margin of 7% in favor of leaving the EU.
Another poll, conducted by ORB, shows the willingness of the majority of British subjects to vote for the country’s membership in the EU. For keeping Britain in the Union are 53% of all respondents and 46 per cent for the country’s withdrawal from the EU.
Thus, the number of supporters of the country’s membership in the EU increased by 5% compared with the previous survey of this company.
Recall that a referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union scheduled for June 23, the polls open at 07:00 local time and will close at 22:00.
