Russia and NATO will not be able to return to those relations which were before, and this position has not changed.
The President of the USA Barack Obama stated at a press conference at the conclusion of a NATO summit, reports from Warsaw the correspondent of “European truth”.
“Even despite the fact that we decided to spend the next week in the NATO Council-Russia, all 28 countries are United in the opinion that we can’t go back to the usual relations (Business as usual) with Russia,” he said.
He also stressed that the NATO summit was important in order to confirm security guarantees for countries in the East Alliance.
“NATO sends a clear message that we will protect every ally,” Obama said.
He also confirmed the interest of the United States to assist in reforming the security sector of Ukraine.
As reported, earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced the agreement, under which Ukraine will obtain a new status in relations with the Alliance.
