Audi has announced the premiere of the Q5 crossover new generation. The German brand has published a teaser news, which is visible from the fifth door models with led lamp. Q5 world premiere will take place at the motor show in Paris September 29.
The new Q5 is built on a global platform MLB evo, which formed the basis of the A4 and Q7. Q5 will be more than 100 kg lighter and with a curb weight of 1600 kg may be the lightest SUV in its segment.
The engine range of the new Q5 will include petrol and diesel two-litre turbocharged engines. Gasoline engines 2.0 TFSI develops 190 and 252 HP, diesel 2.0 TDI – 190 HP. A more powerful version with a label SQ5 will get a three-litre V6 engines – petrol capacity of 354 HP and 340-HP diesel.
