The German TV channel ARD has announced a film about the doping scandal in British sport. This German journalist Hyo Seppelt, the author of the film about the use of illegal drugs in Russian athletics, said in his Twitter.
“Tomorrow will be the next doping story. Big doping scandal in the UK. Including football. In The Sunday Times and on air ARD,” wrote Seppelt.
On the night of March 7, ARD showed the third film, which focuses on the continuation of doping violations by Russia. Two similar paintings were shown 3 and 7 December 2014. These films led to an investigation by the world anti-doping Agency (WADA). According to the results of the report of the independent Commission WADA anti-Doping Agency of Russia (RUSADA) was not considered relevant to the WADA code, and the license of the Moscow anti-doping centre was suspended.
November 13, 2015 the Council of the IAAF suspended the membership of the all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla) in the organization for an indefinite period because of the frequent cases of doping. It is still unknown whether the Russian athletes to participate in the 2016 Olympics.
