The first glass iPhone may be released as early as 2017.
In 2017 Apple will release an iPhone model made of glass. This was stated by Allen horn, the head of Catcher Technology, one of the key suppliers of Apple.
About the intention of Apple to release the glass smartphones had previously said the analyst of the company KGI Securities Ming Chi kou. However, it is assumed that the company will release the first gadget of this plan only in 2018-2019.
At the same time, horn’s statements give hope that the iPhone glass will see the world a year earlier.
Under assumptions of experts, if in 2017 and will be released glass the gadget, it will be just one of the iPhone models.
The head of Catcher Technology also noted that glass the smartphone will have a metal base, manufactured using the latest technologies. It is expected that this will make the body of the gadget more durable, and at the same time – cheaper.
