Turkey cover part of the cost of laying the pipeline on its territory.
Turkey has offered Russia to divide the financing of the gas pipeline “Turkish stream” in half, including the plot, which will be held on its territory.
This was stated by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“We told (the Russian side — ed.) that there are no problems with the project “Turkish stream” is not. The only thing we offered to split half the cost of laying part of the pipeline, which will be on our territory,” he said.
According to Erdogan, regarding the site, which should pass under the Black sea, already there is agreement on the financing of the construction on a parity basis.
