It may be that in the near future, guests of the Spanish island of Ibiza can be seen in the coastal waters of an amazing object in the shape of a geometrical figure, the tetrahedron (triangular pyramid). Looks like this vehicle so unusual that agent Fox Mulder would easily take it for an alien spacecraft made an emergency landing in the waters of the Mediterranean sea. But really, it’s only a concept yacht London designer Jonathan schwinge barrage, which aims to create a ship that can rise above the waves.
The designer originally designed the yacht so that she was able to “levitate” above the water due to a submerged vertical rack, which is attached to the hull. To the bottom of this rack is mounted something like a torpedo with wings. When the boat gains enough speed, the rack is pushed, and her body is lifted above the water. During the same Parking stand retracted and the boat lowered to the water surface.
“This design provides the yacht two water-line, says Jonathan the Mouth at its official website. — At low speed the tetrahedron falls into the water, but at high speed, the underwater wings lift it up. In this position, the yacht can reach speeds up to 70 miles an hour.”
Of course, such a concept is somewhere between reality and science fiction. But as you know, dream of the inventors is not forbidden. And who knows, maybe soon someone famous billionaires will decide to invest their money in creating a real prototype of this amazing vessel?
