Alfa Romeo plans to introduce nine new vehicles by 2021.
Company Alfa Romeo plans to 2021 to bring to market nine new models. This is with reference to the head of the Italian brand reed Bigland reports Motor.
It is expected that on 17 November at the motor show in Los Angeles “alpha” will present a new Stelvio, designed to compete with BMW X3 and Audi Q5. The SUV will share the engine lineup with the sedan Giulia, which include petrol and diesel “four” power from 150 to 280 horsepower.
It is not excluded that the Stelvio will be “charged” modification with the 2.9-liter twin-turbo “six”, which on the sedan Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde develops 510 horsepower. This model will be able to compete with the top versions of the Jaguar F-Pace and Porsche Masap.
In 2017, the Italians will release a new modification of the “Julia” with a body “universal”, which also borrow powertrains from the sedan. Pyatidverka will be designed to increase sales of “alpha” in Europe, where station wagons are the most popular.
Bigland also made further development of the range of crossovers. In 2018, the company may receive a large flagship SUV on the basis of the Maserati Levante, who will be able to compete for customers with the Audi Q7 and BMW X5.
In addition, the “alpha” consider edition version Stelvio with kupeobrazny body — competitor to the BMW X4. Finally, it is not excluded the building of a small-sized crossover BMW X1, which will replace the Giulietta hatchback.
