The car in camouflage tape was seen during the test trials.
Before the debut at the motor show in Los Angeles crossover Alfa Romeo Stelvio was spotted in Modena, Italy.
Under the camouflage shell, you can see that Alfa Romeo SUV will have a sport front bumper and ride on a modified platform from the Giulia.
Italian rival the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, borrowed from the Giulia. You might also see a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 505 horsepower performance version.
The Stelvio should be on sales next summer, but with the reputation of Alfa cannot be sure of this. Like the sedan Giulia, the Stelvio may be in a suspended state of production. One can only hope that this SUV will be a big driving force for Alfa and give the brand broad appeal around the world.
