He stressed that it is “not just about rhetorical Russophobia and aggressive steps, which really hurt our national interests and threaten our security.”
Lavrov said that “aggressive steps” refers, in particular, the approach of NATO military infrastructure to Russia’s borders and deployment of the us heavy weapons.
“Of course, sanctions are a manifestation of unfriendly, I would say, hostile actions,” — said Lavrov.
According to the foreign Minister, in Washington it is impossible to build relations with Moscow “grown-up”, a variant of bilateral relations, which will take into account only the interests of the United States, will not work.
