The US government decided to impose sanctions against several Russian companies suspected of activities that contravene U.S. law on non-proliferation in respect of Iran, North Korea and Syria.
According to the list which should be published in a government publication Federal Register and placed on its website, under the punitive measures fall instrument Design Bureau (Tula), Novosibirsk manufacturer of night vision devices (NVD) and electron-optical converters (EOC, primary element PNV) – the company “Katod”, Corporation “NPO mashinostroeniya (Reutov, Moscow region), company “Rosoboronexport” (Moscow), aircraft manufacturing Corporation “MiG” (Moscow).
Along with Russian firms in the new sanctions list of the USA were companies from Iran, China, North Korea, UAE, Syria, Sudan and Turkey.
In the notice placed on behalf of the U.S. Department of state, explained that henceforth the ministries and agencies of the U.S. government will be forbidden to enter into any procurement contracts with companies from the sanctions list and provide them with any financial support and assistance. Exceptions may be made only with the personal approval of Secretary of state.
It is also prohibited to sell companies from the “black list” of military goods from the relevant list of the US government. Previously concluded transactions for sale of goods and services falling under the export control laws of the United States, torn. Henceforth prohibited the issuance of licenses for such transactions.
Measures remain in force for two years, unless the period is not changed by the decision of the Secretary of state.

The U.S. Department of Commerce makes a new company in Russia and other countries in the sanctions list in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. According to the notice, which must be published in a government publication Federal Register and placed on the website in the “black list” added a total of 29 companies.
“Bureau of industry and security (U.S. Department of Commerce) is taking this action to ensure the effectiveness of the existing sanctions against the Russian Federation because of the conflict in the East of Ukraine, States the publication. In the Russian part of the list includes the subsidiaries of Rosneft, Vankorneft (Krasnoyarsk Krai), Neft ‘ -Aktiv, OOO (Samara oblast), “Syzran refinery”; owned by Rosneft’s Achinsk refinery (Krasnoyarsk region), “Angarsk petrochemical company (Irkutsk region), “kuibyshevsk refinery”, “Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery”, “Orenburgneft” (Orenburg region), Samotlorneftegaz (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug), Verkhnechonskneftegaz (Irkutsk region), “RN-Komsomolsk refinery”, “RN-Yuganskneftegaz”, “RN holding” (before 2013 was called “TNK-BP holding, was purchased by Rosneft in a deal for the purchase of assets “TNK-BP”) and Izhevsk Electromechanical plant “Kupol” and “Concern “Izhmash”.
Separately for Crimea provided the commercial sea port Yalta marine trade port Feodosiya commercial sea port, Kerch commercial sea port, Sevastopol commercial sea port of Yalta, the state shipping company “Kerch ferry”.
