General Prosecutor’s office suspects former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk in receiving a bribe in the amount of three million dollars, reports RIA Novosti.
It is reported that a criminal investigation into allegedly receiving bribes Yatsenyuk was initiated on 15 March. The investigation into this case is still ongoing.
It is noted that by this point in the framework of the criminal case charges no one charged.
“Statements included in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations on signs of a criminal offence… upon receipt of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk improper benefits in the amount of 3 million US dollars for the appointment to the post of head of the concern of radio broadcasting, radio communication and television of Ukraine, Ischuk O. V.”, — said the General Prosecutor’s office.
Recall that last Sunday the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced his resignation. According to him, he faces a much greater challenge than the management of the Ukrainian government.
