In honor of the 90th anniversary of the publication of the book about Winnie the Pooh will be released sequel, entitled “the Best bear in the world.”
New friend bear Winnie-the-Pooh will be the penguin. The character will appear in a new book, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the release of stories about Winnie-the-Pooh, The Guardian reports.
A new character was invented by the writer Brian Sibley, who was inspired by the photo of the author of the original tales, Alan Alexander Milne with son, Christopher Robin Milne. Her boy plays with a penguin and a Teddy bear. “The idea of meeting Down with the penguin seemed no more unusual than his encounter with a kangaroo and a tiger in the woods of Sussex,” explained Sibley.
Sibley was one of four authors who participated in the creation of the book “the Best bear in the world”, which is scheduled for 6 October.
