Alan Milne wrote a piece for his son Christopher.
In 1921 Milne gave his son a birthday stuffed with sawdust doll bear. Christopher gladly accepted the gift from his father.
After all, every night Alan told his son the tale of an imaginary plump beast named Winnie the Pooh. Christopher constantly played a performance with plush toys. The performances were also attended by all members of the family. Milne remembered these scenes, and then recorded them in their books. Later Alan said that the Creator of the plots of his works was Christopher. New year’s eve in 1925, a British novelist releases first book about the adventures of Winnie the Pooh called “the House at Pooh corner”.
First on Milne tales of the little people paid attention, but several months later the book became a bestseller that spawned a series of works about the unlucky Winnie-the-Pooh. It is noteworthy that Alan was introduced to the story of the animals in the same order as they appeared at his son. In the franchise about a chubby bear cub there are two characters that are added personally by Milne. Toys Owl Rabbit Christopher was not. Even in one of the books the characters will say to each other that only the two of them have brains, the rest is only sawdust. Later, Christopher rose, and Alan already with not so much enthusiasm told about the adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Years later Milne hated his bear because it was perceived by British author exclusively as a children’s author.
