The doping scandal that erupted in January 2015, has led to the fact that participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, was dismissed almost all Russian athletes. A year and a half ago in the blood of five leading Russian walkers Olga Kaniskina, Valery Borchin, Sergei Kirdyapkin and Vladimir Kaniskina and Sergey Bakulin was found a prohibited substance. A subsequent investigation by Commission of the world anti-doping Agency revealed that Russia was allowed systematic violations, because of which we cannot speak of the conduct of the country’s effective anti-doping program. This led to the disqualification of the all-Russian athletics Federation. Attempts to return her accreditation without success.
Currently under survey was the performance of Russian Paralympians. The international Paralympic Committee announced the decision to suspend the national team of our country from the Games due to start on 7 September. The Russian Federation has three weeks to appeal the decision.
