Mortgage credit is becoming more and more popular in Russia: everyone wants to have it his own, and not taken from someone in the rental area. Despite the fact that mortgage lending is a relatively new thing for our country, a huge number of people took advantage of this opportunity. It is important to maintain this trend and to increase the availability of housing even in conditions of economic instability.

These important points said in an interview with channel one Dmitry Medvedev. He predicts the reduction of the key rate, and this has a positive impact on the interest rate at which banks will issue mortgage loans. Just a couple of weeks ago, the Central Bank already lowered its key interest rate to 10% per annum, and this is clearly not the limit. Due to the reduction of inflation it is possible to achieve even lower rates.

At the same time, the housing sector is of great importance to state support. Instruments and methods are many, and the comprehensive campaign will affect affordability. At the moment, for example, the state implemented a program that allows you to maintain separate categories of citizens: the disabled, large families, military personnel.

Dmitry Medvedev said about the possibility to lower the rate on mortgage loans are available up to 12-13%, which do greatly simplify life of citizens.
